Sarisan is an allylbenzene that has been found in Piper affinis hispidinervum essential oil (74.3%) along with safrole (18.4%). Its also found in P. sarmentosum, P. guineense, and Ocotea opifera. Sarisan in a positional isomer of myristicin.
